Chief Executive Officer
Tommy joined WorldVue in 2013 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer where he is responsible for managing the company’s investment and financial strategy and working closely with the executive team to develop long-term value across the company’s partners and customer portfolio.
Prior to WorldVue, Tommy was engaged in the solid waste industry for 23 years. He began his career as part of the founding group of Republic Waste, where he was primarily in charge of investor relations and corporate communications. He was a founding member of TransAmerican Waste Industries in 1992, serving as Vice President – Treasurer until the company was sold to Waste Management in 1998.
Mr. Fatjo was also a founder of Waste Corporation of America in 1998, and was Senior Vice President – Finance and responsible for acquisitions until the company was purchased by a private equity firm in 2012.
Tommy received a bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. Tommy’s hobbies include working out, hunting, fishing and golf.
President and Chief Operating Officer
Robert is a leader in the institutional real estate and technology industries with a 25-year track record. He is committed to helping institutional real estate owners and managers create value from investments in technology by enhancing the customer experience and forming long-lasting partnerships with best of breed technology solutions.
Robert started at Equity Residential in Chicago, IL and led their Strategic Business Development unit where he was responsible for assuring that technology providers helped create the best possible living experience wile yielding non-rent sources of income. While at Equity, he gained an understand go how technology improves the marketability or real estate and developed a reputation for having a long-term vision and thinking outside the box to create win-win partnerships with technology companies. He leveraged this experience and reputation to hold senior executive leadership positions at three different public companies and two successful technology start-ups.
With laser focus on the client, he is currently the President of WorldVue. Previously, he has worked at Boingo Wireless and DISH Network. His consistent focus on leveraging technology and information to benefit commercial enterprise and institutional real estate clients has afforded him industry-wide accolades.
Robert currently resides in Houston.
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Barbara started with the company in February of 2016 as CFO. She manages all processes for financial forecasting and budgets, Human Resources and oversees the preparation of all financial reporting for the company. She is focused on being a leader to a team of 30, and advising on long-term business and financial planning.
Previous to joining WorldVue, Barbara specialized in the solid waste industry for over 20 years. She started with Republic Waste, moved to TransAmerica Waste and most recently Waste Corporation of America where she served as the Vice President and Director of Corporate Accounting.
Barbara enjoys fitness, running and being with her two dogs. She currently resides in Houston and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a focus in accounting.
Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Nick Jones leads WorldVue through the ever-evolving technology industry with an ongoing series of product innovations. Nick oversees product development and deployment, including research and development of advanced technology in delivery property technology.
Nick’s commitment to deliver the highest quality of service and support available is manifest in the WorldVue Entertainment HUB. He is directly involved with developing new and existing systems while working closely with hardware and service providers such as DISH, LG, Blonder-Tongue, Showtime, HBO and many others.
Previously, Nick ran Schlumberger’s global network. In 2006, Nick founded NJT, Inc. “Not Just Technology.” NJT, Int. was Houston’s premier managed IT service firm until he sold it in 2016.
Nick currently resides in Houston.
Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer
David Goldstone has served in various executive management positions within the industry for over 25 years. He is the recipient of the prestigious AH&LA’s John Whitaker Award for his dedication and commitment to the hotel industry. He is an experienced President with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry.
Goldstone has a certificate of CHMS, Master Hotel Supplier from AH&LA. Goldstone currently sits on the board of AH&LA, The Hospitality Show, ILHA and BLLA Technology Committee.
Skilled in Marketing Management, Negotiation, Business Planning, Operations and Sales Management. A motivated leader who loves mentoring staff and helping them achieve their goals.
At WorldVue, as Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President, Goldstone will help lead WorldVue’s long-term business strategy and client-focused approach, which will result in improvement in customer and partner satisfaction as well as help diversify by offering new products to new markets.
Senior Vice President & Chief Experience Officer
Scott is a growth-oriented and customer-focused leader with extensive experience in the hotel/hospitality technology sector. Throughout his career, Scott has garnered multifaceted expertise and achieved success by forging strategic partnerships and implementing technological solutions.
Scott has over 25 years technical, management and business development experience in computer and broadband networking, telecom, and has extensive background in Wi-Fi network engineering, planning, and deployment specifically as it relates to high-density and hospitality environments. Recognized for his proactive approach, Scott has excelled in developing key partnerships within the hospitality sector, aligning strategies, objectives, and visions set by senior leadership teams. His effective leadership has led to the discovery of new product opportunities aimed at enhancing guest, client, and business outcomes, encompassing various communication platforms, technological applications, and tailored messaging solutions.
Before joining WorldVue, Scott has held multiple executive positions within the hospitality technology sector, focused on guest and resident facing technology, with expertise in Wi-Fi, Telecommunications & Infotainment. Scott was also a co-founder and Vice President of Operations of Ze-Net Technologies, Inc. for 16 years.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of North Texas and remains active at UNT as an advisor at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business.
Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer
Mark Schaps has an extensive background in technology engineering, where he has supported various companies across the Houston metroplex with his industry expertise and attention to detail. Mark began his career journey with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech, majoring in Management Information Systems.
Prior to joining the WorldVue team in 2020, Schaps gained experience in multiple industries as a Network Engineer and Technology Consultant before being promoted to IT Director at a Houston-based mortgage firm. In September 2020, Schaps was brought onto the WorldVue team where he served as our IT Director before being promoted to Vice President of Technology and Service, and later SVP and Chief Information Officer.
In his current role, Schaps will lead WorldVue into the future of business technology. A Houston native, Schaps currently lives in the area with his wife and two young children.
Chief Business Development Officer
Chris Coles joined the WorldVue team this year to lead growth through innovation and new markets for the company. His visionary approach places innovation at the core, targeting enhancements in network services, business models, and applications. Simultaneously, Chris is steering the company towards exciting prospects in international hospitality, unlocking untapped opportunities for growth.
With a keen eye on the unique needs of specific sectors, including hospitality, multi-family, and other ‘closed user group communities,’ Chris is committed to delivering tailored solutions that cater to owners, managers, guests, residents, and other providers. As a local service provider, WorldVue is well positioned to meet the unique and diverse demands of these communities.
Chris brings decades of extensive experience from a career in network services, holding key roles at AT&T, US West, TCI, Qwest Communications, Liberty Global and Liberty Latin America. In addition to these tier one service providers, Chris led two successful startups – one in the IPTV software market later acquired by Siemens, and one in the contact center analytics business later acquired by Avaya. His blend of experience with international service providers and software/hardware startups position Chris to be a key leader in growth initiatives for WorldVue.
